As our Office Manager & Team Assistant, you’ll be the heart of our Hamburg office — ensuring that our team, guests, and partners experience a professional, welcoming, and well-organized environment every day. You’ll also play a key role in professionalizing our internal backbone processes — from HR to accounting — by introducing smart automation and modern tools.
What you’ll do
Office Management: Ensure the smooth day-to-day running of our Hamburg office, including supplies, equipment and meeting rooms. Be the go-to person for all things operational — from facility management to IT coordination.
Team Support: Support the Uplift team with travel bookings, calendar coordination, and expense management. Assist with onboarding new team members and organizing internal events and team offsites.
Administrative Excellence: Manage correspondence, prepare documents and presentations, and support with documentation and accounting. Coordinate with external service providers and Jungheinrich core departments (e.g. Finance, Legal) as needed.
Process Optimization & Automation: Take ownership of improving and professionalizing our backbone processes — including HR, travel and accounting. Identify opportunities for automation and implement smart tools and software to streamline workflows and increase efficiency.
Hospitality & Culture: Welcome guests and partners with professionalism and warmth. Help foster a positive and collaborative team culture — from birthday surprises to team events.
What you bring
Previous experience in office management, team assistance, or administrative roles
Strong organizational skills and a proactive, hands-on attitude
A digital mindset with experience with process optimization and automation tools (e.g. n8n, Personio, DATEV, etc.)
Absolute pro in the Microsoft Office suite
Excellent communication skills and a service-oriented mindset
Fluency in German and English
A friendly, positive personality who enjoys working with people and creating structure
Discretion, reliability, and a high level of professionalism
