As a Senior Business Builder, you will take on one of these strategic challenges and build a 100% Jungheinrich business from the ground up, unlocking new growth beyond our core operations.
What you’ll do
You will identify, validate, and build a new business from 0 → 1 within the Uplift venture-building program, leveraging Jungheinrich’s assets and Uplift’s support to create strategic impact. Working in a structured, stage-gated approach, you’ll move rapidly from concept to scalable solution with internal buy-in.
This means:
Discover: Identify high-impact problems by deeply understanding customers, markets, and technology shifts in material handling and beyond, focusing on opportunities aligned with Jungheinrich’s strategy.
Ideate: Turn insights into concrete business concepts – define compelling value propositions and business cases that leverage Jungheinrich’s strengths and assets.
Validate: Test your ideas through rapid experiments, customer interviews, prototypes, and data; validate assumptions in the market while engaging core Jungheinrich stakeholders for alignment to ensure viability and strategic fit.
Build: Develop a Minimum Viable Product (MVP), an operational plan, and a scalable business model integrated in Jungheinrich’s operations or as a 100% daughter company of the Jungheinrich AG. Prepare the new venture for scale-up and operational integration into the Group.
Execute: Drive the launch and implementation of the new business, securing corporate buy-in and resources, managing senior stakeholders across BUs, functions, and partners and translate venture success into corporate impact, ensuring the new business is primed to become a lasting part of Jungheinrich’s portfolio.
You will:
Operate with consulting-grade problem solving and execution excellence.
Apply structured methodologies, clear milestones, and crisp communication.
Leverage AI and modern tooling to increase speed and decision quality.
Collaborate closely with internal experts and external partners.
This role is for you if
You bring top-tier consulting or comparable experience (e.g., strategy, transformation, corporate development) with a track record of owning complex workstreams and delivering under ambiguity.
You excel at stakeholder management at senior levels and can translate analysis into decisions.
You combine analytical rigor with hands‑on delivery and reliability.
You’re ambitious about impact and ready to build – not pitch – a business.
Bonus:
Experience in logistics, startups, or building teams
Strong AI/tooling fluency
Languages: Fluent in English and German
